Here are the planned meetings for SBE chapter 5 and affiliated organizations in the Atlanta area:

1)  The December, 2011 SBE Atlanta meeting will be held on Thursday, December 1st at 7 PM. 

We will meet at WSB's "White Columns" located at 1601 West Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta GA 30309.

Please join us at a familiar haunt, the "White Columns", for an informational presentation from Chris Crump of Comrex.  He will be demonstrating the company's new entry into the TV side of the business, the Comrex "LiveShot".  The "LiveShot" is an H.264/AAC codec that connects to the battery shoe of a ENG camera.  It encodes the video and audio, and provides transmission via user supplied USB devices.  It comes equipped with a WiFi device, and can accept two 3G/4G LTE devices supplied by the user.  It can also record encoded video/audio onto user supplied standard SDHC memory cards and transmit it "home" when appropriate.

The product is so new, it isn't available for sale just yet.  Orders ARE being taken, though.

This is a "members only" event.  You must be a member of one of the four sponsoring events to attend, or a paid sponsor. 

Each member may bring ONE guest.  Cost is $10 per person ($20 per couple), payable on the registration website.

We WILL be checking your membership status once registration closes.  Please make sure you are up to date on your dues.  No refunds if you register and your membership(s) have lapsed.

Registration closes on Monday, December 5th.  Latecomers will not be able to register at the $10/person rate.  No refunds if you cannot attend.
